On this first Christmas day,
Humble Child lay in the hay.
But He may not delay another day,
Because this vast world needs to hear Him say,
I know your life may appear a bit gray,
This is all because from My perfect plan you did stray,
but
I am the way,
and
Today is the day if you will pray,
Confess your sins and keep Me no more at bay.
Acknowledge Me to be LORD and My Spirit in you will stay.
Your sin debt I will pay,
And my Son will on you shine His ray.
Heaven will sing and the angels will play.
Don’t delay, today is the day!
